Green painted dresser mirror from 1840s England. The tilt mirror is flanked by two ionic columns and a floating frieze with carved fan pediment and urn finials. A rectangular base rests on ball feet and contains a drawer with a simple round brass handle. The original glass mirror has a wonderfully mottled, smoky patina. An elegant yet rustic 19th-century dresser or bathroom mirror that would also make a delightful jewelry box or vanity piece.
